Pipeline Reliability & Pricing Simulation for Cross-Border E-commerce

The Challenge

A cross-border e-commerce operation spanning US, EU, and JP marketplaces needed dependable inventory and ETA visibility across FBA, FBM, and Dropshipping models — plus a way for executives to evaluate pricing scenarios before committing.

The Solution

• Partnered with the Data Engineering team to extract raw data with Python/SQL and maintain pipeline reliability with Apache Airflow.
• Performed hands-on database administration — schema changes and access control — beyond standard query access.
• Built and optimized real-time Power BI, Looker Studio, and Superset dashboards tracking inventory, incoming goods, and ETA.
• Built Telegram and Google Chat bots for automated reports and metric alerts, and contributed a simulation tool to the strategic Sell-in Pricing project.

The Result

• Kept supply-chain data available and current for the whole team, reducing manual data-pull requests.
• Gave executives a simulation tool to evaluate sell-in pricing decisions before rollout.
• Automated alerting replaced manual monitoring of core operational metrics.
