The Challenge

A small marketing agency ran its entire operation — client data, contracts, campaign costs, timesheets — across dozens of uncontrolled Google Sheets. Every staff member kept their own copy, month-end numbers never reconciled, and there was no budget for a dedicated dev team or BI license.

The Solution

• Interviewed every department to map the real data flow, then documented a normalized relational model — tables, primary/foreign keys, and data-entry rules.
• Migrated years of historical spreadsheet data into a clean schema on Google BigQuery.
• Built a data-entry and sync application on AppSheet + Apps Script with role-based permissions, replacing manual spreadsheet editing.
• Automated weekly and monthly reporting so the business owner sees live numbers instead of a manual month-end roll-up.

• Eliminated duplicate/conflicting spreadsheet copies — one source of truth for the whole agency.
